yay i had half day cos i finish my work in time! haha! went to marina sq foodcourt for lunch... den walked to esplanade there n jus sat by the sea with all the balls on it.. haha.. n i bought a freshly made candy floss! its big for $1 and its purple! haha.. v sweet.. v nice.. wanted to go up the rooftop terrace but its clse.. den headed for e library and sat on the v comfy couch at the cafe and bought a piece of brownie there..tot can sit down there til 5plus but den jus shortly aft we sat down, there's the announcement of: the library is gg to clse in half an hr. sian arh.. haha.. lik no whr to go lik tt.. ended up gg back to marina sq foodcourt n sat outside n wait til 6!
Went to meet my beloved 1607 at billy bombers for dinner! the food was jus so-so.. v normal western food, so its nt worth it for the price.. had this.. new yr set: three for all... its meant for 1 person but i felt so full sharing it.. it looks so nice hor, but the taste.. hmm..oklor.. haha.. the soup was nt bad.. mocktail was normal.. but the oreacheesecake was nice! haha.. den we had this lucky draw thing and i gt a free milkshake n brownie wid icecream for the nxt visit.. but gt min spendin one..$8 for each leh.. who wans go wid me? haha...
den somehow.. we split into 2grps.. 1 went for esplanade straight aft dina.. while the rest(G7 plus the 3 guys.. lw so sad u cant come! its a looong time since we saw u! and i gt sth to pass u too! nxt one mus come ah!) went to see if there is any movie tix available.. but den.. dunhav! haha.. but den on e way i saw the soft toy catchin machine! the toys there are much nicer than at other arcades lor! i wan to hav one of the catched softtoy!!!!! haha... den went millenium walk.. i tink its a v nice place there.. cos its always v empty.. the air there feels so much nicer too esp aft the crowds at marina sq n suntec usually.. haha.. its only aft this tt we went to esplanade area.. tryin to look for the other grp.. haha.. its alr soo crowded! finally managed to squeeze thru the crowds and found them but could get inside.. so we settled down on our own afew steps back and began playin psp? chat and wait for 12 to come! n baobei! we shld hav video-ed down yy playin prata pon! so wasted! hohoho!
and finally its 1 Jan 2009 went the fireworks went high up in the sky! it was a beautiful sight.. v bright, v colourful and v dazzling! it totally lit up the night sky.. the finale was gd too.. really feels lik a finale! haha.. take a few pics den home we went! but walked all the way to raffles to catch the mrt.. den walked frm pasir ris mrt to my hse.. it was actually quite a dist and it takes 30+ mins? haha.. by the time i reached hm it was alr 3am.. so tired tt i fell aslp right away aft i bathed!
nxt morning! i woke up late! or we both overslpt! haha. meetin time was suppose to be 10 or 11? ended up meetin at 12+.. haha.. took bus to downtown east and it cost $0.71 instead of the usual 45cents! so much more! and no more 'titi' alr! i nv knw the sound of 'titi' was so nice until the v first time i hear only one 'ti' when i tap my card! haha..
went into escape for the 1st time thou it opened yearsss ago! haha.. 18yrs old instead of the usual 12yrs old? it was v small.. nt many rides oso... haha.. went for lunch first! at orange julius inside escape itself.. superdog gt much nicer dogs as compared to orange julius! haha.. but den the original orange julius n strawberry julius was nice.. and a combination of both was nice too! haha..
ok.. 1st ride was the super mini ferris wheel.. haha.. jus sit inside tok only.. really v small lor.. lik for babies lik tt.. haha..
den was haunted hse.. okla.. its jus v dark inside n i cant see the way to walk lor.. i was abit scared cos when i cant see i dun dare to walk forward.. haha.. n there is this rule tt u cant bump into walls! haha. but den its soo dark lor.. how ll i knw if theres a wall in front of me! haha. my luckily this guy walked infront of us so he lik lead us.. haha.. n nt before long.. we're out! haha..
nxt up was viking! haha.. its lik the most thrillin ride of all we took.. cos the inverter n the rainbow thing was clsed la.. but anw i oso dun dare take the inveter.. haha.. thou its nt the vvv big viking but really quite thrilling leh.. my legs felt so weak n wobbly when it swing to the fullest lor.. n i keep screaming! haha.. u must learn how to scream la! if nt i scream myself lor! haha..
the sky was gettin darker with grey clouds.. its gg to rain! so it started to rain when we were on the kiddos airplane.. haha.. den halfway jiu stop le.. raining no choice.. so go the central pavilion there watch ppl play.. suddenly there so many ppl.. haha.. but den each game cost $2.50 leh! so ex lor.. it shld be free lor.. we pay entrance fee liao leh! so i din play anything! haha..
when the rain finally stopped.. we went to queue, but den before its our turn, it rained agn! hai.. no choice mus seek shelter n wait.. but gt cupcorn.. but the cupcorn there hor, lik no butter no salt de lor. okla.. its jus v little.. haha..
this time the rain stopped for gd! haha. so its was gd weather cos no sun.. so jiu.. go play the family roller coaster which was.. really family lor. v small den nt scary de.. haha.. but shuang la.. haha.. ooh.. den we walked pass this father on the boat and he sprayed the water on us! haha..
den was the flyer.. its v shuang.. esp when i clse my eyes.. can jus slp lor.. haha..
aft tt we headed for wild n wet! its the drop down the slide on a boat thing.. haha.. n its really wet! din buy ponchos cos its $2 for each! so ex! haha.. so we gt all wet! ok i was less wet plus my top was nt those tt is v water absorbant! haha.. but u gt v wet! den ur hands so cold frm den on..
flipper was nxt.. and its another v shuang ride too! cos when ure at the top.. all u see is the blue blue sky plus the fluffy clouds.. so nice! if a rainbow were to appear! its jus perfect! haha.. n if its at night, a starry night will be beautiful up there! but its all jus my wishful thoughts la! haha..
last ride for the day - go cart.. but beginner track la.. waitin time was real long! but its v shuang for me to be in the passenger seat! haha.. jus being driven around and enjoy the breeze! it wasnt tt tought after all ya? even thou jus before our turn, there is one that drove straight into the sides! haha... okla.. i tink im no much beta aft my bad bumper car experience in KL.. haha..
ok.. so this is the end of my visit to escape theme park... but it was a v worthwhile vist cost we only paid $10 for 2ppl.. all thanks to ur 1 complimentary tix n the promotion of halfprice! n its the last day! hoho.. but den i tink there is lik no use for the funky card thing.. haha.. they shld jus let us buy the tix itself la! den it ll only cost $8.90! haha..
so.. is IR themepark a promise..?
